Elke's Books bookbinding studio is located in Hurstbridge, 30km north-east of Melbourne. Elke Ahokas has studied fine bookbinding in Finland and Australia and specialises in made to order fine leather bindings, historical bindings, artist books and book repairs.
Private tuition is available in a range of subjects including paper decoration, marbling, edge gilding, book repair, traditional and contemporary binding techniques for bookbinders and book artists.
